Morning Lovelies! <3

In a couple of days Zodiac- Gemini will be closing to make room for another round. You can still pick up anything that you want until June 18th.

I'm wearing the Twin Rose tank and skirt from DCNY that comes in seven colors. Its adorable, and you can wear the tank and skirt separately, or as one piece. And although you can't see it to well, I'm also wearing the Gemini Constellation Necklace by Noodles. And lastly, I am using a pose from the Smart pose pack that aDORKable has out.

Summerfest '13 also opened its doors yesterday, and I'm wearing the Ashley skin from Belleza. There are two skins at the event in various tones.

Here is what River has to say about why he enjoys Second Life:

"SL for me has always been about fun. Finding things I enjoy doing and finding others who like the same. I have done many things in SL...I was a stripper..lol. I think a lot of us start at that point here in SL for fun but the longer you stay the more the world of Sl reveals itself to you. I love to create and express different things that go on in my head. As well as admire the creations of others.

Photography is one of the things that I love doing in SL, it allows me to create and express all at the same time and it is truly some of the most fun I have here. I have recently found a love for building. Which in retrospect should have come to me sooner seeing as I love to create however it wasn't until the appearance of mesh in which that spark of creation came to me. Buying the creations of others in the form of clothes, homes and decor are always great fun for me, even more so when done with close friends.

SL has a lot to offer and can be a blast if you do it properly. I have explored many avenues here but the fun factor is one thing that can be found in many forms, you just have to look in the right areas."

Faces of SL- Dinalya Dawes

I'm starting back up my Faces of SL feature again, and I've chosen the oh so cute Dinalya Dawes for the female portion.

Here is what she has to say about why she enjoys Second Life:

"Since 2004 I've met the good the bad and the ugly of SL, right after the amazing friends I have made here, I have always enjoyed the fashion and building creativity that so many posses and share with us. I love to take the beautifully detailed items or clothing and create a place that I could never have in RL.  I can relax and look out over a calm ocean view one day and curl up reading a book by a waterfall the next. In those places I can be anything my heart can imagine. A raven beauty on that beach, or a freckled ginger dipping her toes in the water. Every choice, every dream, every unobtainable change in rl is able to become a virtual reality. All so very different, yet all still so very me.

I started blogging those bits and pieces of me years ago, and its been fantastic to watch how the fashion and creative community within Second Life has changed over the years. From someone who cannot even draw stick people, I am in awe at the things we are presented with to enhance and celebrate our world, our imaginations.

I've never been happier within SL than I am these days and even though I still take a random few days off, what I like best about SL and those closest to me is that its always still here. Like a welcoming hug to help escape and survive everything that comes my way. I am still surprised by those that have come (or will) into my life here, and thankful for every single moment we share that we otherwise would have missed, if not for Second Life."

I love that Belleza went with black lips for the Ellie Rare 2 skin. So striking. I paired it with some new hair from LeLutka, and the new Okaki piercings by Mandala.

I have more Numberology goodness for you!

First up is the adorable top from Boom that you can find at the number five section. It comes in a few great patterns. I decided to go with the Traveler Tee- Call Box because of my obsession with anything Doctor Who.

Mina has a great hair out at the number nine section. I am so happy that Mina is doing mesh hair now. Yay!

Pekka has some great infinity jewelry out at the number zero section. I'm wearing the earrings and ring, and there is also a necklace and bracelet. The sets come in three different colours.

Atooly has out an infinity neck tattoo and some poses called Mystery Set, and is also at the number zero section. I adore the poses, so cute!

And lastly, I am using Izzie's Ivana skin again in this post in the pale tone, which you can find at the number eight section.

A new event opened up yesterday, June 1st called Numberology. Its a neat event based on numbers and their meanings. You can find out more here: Numberology. The event runs until June 15th, and a lot of great brands are involved.
